Xiaolong Yuan: Starting

This is my design project that I did it in my foundation year. The theme of this project is Focal point and Balance. The geometric forms are arranged to create a strong symmetrical Balance. The dominance of the circular forms further emphasises the central area. Thus creating Focal Point. The balsa wood base provides a contrast of texture and colour.

Petronas Twin Towers - at a dizzying height of nearly 457.2 meters, the Petronas Twin Towers, a pair of 88 - story building, were the world's tallest buildings until 2004. the designs on the towers are based on the geometric patterns common in Islamic architecture.
